Professor Todd Eberly was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Governor's Commission on Service and Volunteerism by Maryland Governor Wes Moore.

The Commission was created in 1994 to oversee Maryland's AmeriCorps activities and resources under the National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993, reviewing and approving all funding under the program in the state. The Commission members also serve as ambassadors for service and volunteerism in their local communities.

Eberly is a professor of political science and public policy and coordinator of the public policy program. He is a sought-after expert commentator in news articles throughout the state on Maryland and U.S. government and politics.
