Liza Gijanto, associate professor of anthropology, recently published an article in The International Journal of Historical Archaeology.

“Interpreting West Ashcom: Drones, Artifacts, and Archives,” is based on work at Cremona Estate in Mechanicsville, Maryland, and draws on field work completed by St. Mary’s College students as part of archaeology field schools in 2016 and 2018, as well as students from the anthropology department's Research Methods course.
