Assistant Professor of History Jeffrey Eden’s book “Slavery and Empire in Central Asia” (Cambridge University Press, 2018), has been shortlisted for the CESS Book Award. This award, created by the Central Eurasian Studies Society, "is presented to the author of the book or monograph that represents the most important contribution to Central Eurasian studies" during the previous year.
