The fall championship season witnessed several teams and individuals make deep runs in the postseason. Men's soccer advanced to the Capital Athletic Conference championship game for the fourth time in program history and first since 2015. The second-seeded Seahawks dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision to top-seeded and No. 12 University of Mary Washington on November 3. In addition, the sixth-seeded women's soccer team made it to the CAC Tournament semifinals for the fourth consecutive season, falling 3-2 to second-seeded Mary Washington.
Kara Taylor had a tremendous finish to her sophomore campaign. First, Taylor tallied a fifth-place finish at the CAC Championships on October 27 to pick up All-CAC First Team honors. Her fifth-place finish was the highest by a Seahawk female since a 14th-place finish by Michelle DiMenna '15 in 2011. Then, Taylor came in 41st overall out of 341 runners on November 10 at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships, guiding the Seahawk women's cross country team to their best finish ever of 28th (previous best finish was 34th in 2013). Taylor's placement was the highest finish by a Seahawk runner - male or female - in the 10-year history of the program at the NCAA Regionals.
Leo Boucher wrapped up the fall sailing season with a bang as Boucher finished as the national runner up at the 2018 Laser Performance College Sailing Men's Singlehanded National Championships on November 2-4. This is the best finish ever by a male Seahawk sailor as Peter McChesney '86 and Anthony Kotoun '00 both finished third.
Twelve Seahawks received All-CAC awards for their performances during the season.
