Biography

The Annapolis, Maryland native returned to St. Mary’s College in the Fall of 2026 after spending one years as the Assistant Varsity Sailing Coach for Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH (Aug. 2025 – June 2026). During the summers, Zoë worked at New Bedford Yacht Club as a guest coach and Severn Sailing Association as an interim director of junior sailing. 

As a student at St. Mary’s from Fall 2021 – Spring 2025, Zoë graduated with a major in Political Science while actively competing as a varsity sailing team member and captain. Hoctor also was a SAAC representative for two years during her time at St. Mary's. Zoë was able to finish off her collegiate career as the A-division crew on the open team receiving first team all MAISA awards in 2024 and 2025. She was also nominated for the MAISA Crew of the Year award in 2024 and 2025.
