Biography

Dr Trish Davis earned her PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Arizona, and MS in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She is a gerontologist and is interested in conscious aging and wellbeing, wisdom development and expression, and how intergenerational relationships can benefit individuals of all ages.  Passionate about teaching, Professor Davis acquired her college teaching certificate from the University of Arizona with an emphasis on inclusive classroom practices, multi-modal learning models, and building community-oriented classrooms.  A native of North Carolina, she also lived in St Augustine, Florida where she was a long-term business owner, and owner of an Arabian horse ranch. When not engaged in teaching, you can find her on the yoga mat (she is also a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher), in nature - hiking, gardening, purposefully wandering, or with one or more of her four young adult children and dog, Jessie.
