Director Setlak joined the St. Mary's College community on 11/2/2015. She has spent her career in both traditional and higher education law enforcement in Pennsylvania beginning in 1989. During the course of her career she served as a patrol officer, sergeant, lieutenant, chief of police and director of public safety. She has earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from The Pennsylvania State University and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Cincinnati. She is an adjunct professor for the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). As an active community she serves on the St. Mary's County Library Board of Trustees and as a member the Board of Directors for the Friends of St. Clements and Piney Point Museums.
