Biography
My name is Owen Doty, I'm a class of 2018 Alum here at St.Mary's College of Maryland, with a double major in Anthropology and Environmental Studies. I'm currently the Admissions Fellow for the Office of Admissions, sharing my love of the college with potential future students!
My favorite event the school puts on is Alumni Weekend, where all past students are invited back to the river to not only share their accomplishments and reconnect with old friends, but to relive the wonders of St. Mary's and to continue to be part of this amazing community. It shows that the St. Mary's way is more than just a set of guidelines for your time here - it's a way of life.
Job Description
As the Admissions Fellow, I serve as one of the first points of contact that prospective students and families have during their time visiting campus. I give information sessions, tours of the campus, supply information packages to the students, and help answer any questions they or the family might have. If I don't have access to the answers, I direct them to the folks that do.
