Biography

Nichole Doub is the Head Conservator at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory, where she specializes in the treatment and preservation of archaeological materials from both terrestrial and maritime contexts. With extensive field and laboratory experience, she has worked on projects ranging from shipwrecks to colonial sites, emphasizing the importance of conservation at every stage of recovery. Nichole is an active contributor to conservation training and outreach, dedicated to bridging the gap between archaeologists and conservators to ensure the long-term preservation of cultural heritage.
