Hannah Keats

Biography

Hannah Keats received her BFA from the University of North Florida and her MFA in Studio Art from Florida State University. Her interdisciplinary art practice centers on biomorphic sculptural paintings and installations inspired by marine ecosystems and science fiction. Keats received the 2026 Miami University Young Painters Award, juried by Saya Woolfalk, The Puffin Foundation Art and Environmental Activism Award, and has been recognized by the Nature Conservatory for her work addressing shark conservation. Her work has been exhibited in a number of venues including: The Studios of Key West (Key West, FL), The Painting Center (NYC), The Bradbury Art Museum at Arkansas State University (Jonesboro, AR), Fried Fruit Art Space (Wilmington, NC), and the Swan Coach House Gallery (Atlanta, GA). Keats has also completed artist residencies at Mudhouse (Crete, Greece), On::View (Savannah, GA), and Institut für Alles Mögliche (Berlin, Germany).
