The Kay Daugherty Internship Program at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center offers students a chance to gain hands-on experience working in a dynamic arts organization. Named for longtime Southern Maryland arts supporter Kay Daugherty, this program provides meaningful opportunities to build skills while supporting creative community programming.
Now Hiring: Summer Camp Counselor (Paid Position)
This role is open to undergraduate students interested in arts, education, recreation, or working with children.
What you’ll do:
- Help coordinate daily activities for Annmarie’s summer camp program
- Check students in and prepare classroom materials and activities
- Assist instructors and support campers throughout the day
- Contribute to a fun, engaging environment for young learners
The Camp Counselor plays a key role in the success of the program. Ideal candidates are organized, patient, self-motivated, and resourceful, with experience or interest in working with young children.
Position Details:
- Paid hourly position
- 35–40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
