Congratulations to Amber Caldwell, February winner for the Seahawk Spirit Award!
Amber Caldwell is the Web Developer in the Marketing and Communications department and was nominated under the Kudos Award category.
This is what one of the nominators shared about Amber: "Amber has been a huge help to the Office of Accessibility Services in updating and improving our website. In a short amount of time, she was able to work though a very chaotic Google Doc, full of random questions and ideas, helping us to clean up our page and make sure all the information is accessible to current and prospective students, faculty, staff, and the public. She always checked in to see if there was more to do as we worked through the updates, and was happy to provide suggestions and collaborate when there was a major layout change. In addition, Amber has stepped into the Digital Accessibility Workgroup meetings when needed, ensuring there was always a representative from her department present. We are so grateful for Amber’s hard work and collaboration in making our Title II requirements by April!"
If you see Amber on a zoom meeting please congratulate her and thank Amber for everything she does to make our SMCM community a wonderful place to be!
