Join us in welcoming Dan Bramos of the NavAir Museum as he talks about "50 years since the Footprint".
This year celebrates 50 years since humans first walked on the moon.
We're going to talk about what it took to get there, the moon landing of Apollo 11, and many of the significant missions that came after that have contributed to humans living in space continually for the last 18 years. Additionally, we'll touch on both the social and security concerns of installing a spaceflight display for public viewing in a museum.
Following the presentation stay for food and drinks and learn about research and internship opportunities at the NavAir museum located just up the road in Lexington Park (http://www.paxmuseum.com/).
