Angie Chuang is a nonfiction writer and journalism educator based in Denver, Colorado. Her debut memoir, The Four Words for Home (Willow Books 2014), won an Independent Publisher Book Award bronze medal, and was a finalist for the Saroyan, International Rubery, and Hoffer prizes. Her work has appeared in appeared in Creative Nonfiction, Litro, Vela, The Asian American Literary Review, Hyphen, The Washington Post, several editions of The Best Women's Travel Writing, and more. She is an associate professor of journalism at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and was at American University in Washington D.C. before that. She has received fellowships and residencies from Yaddo, Hedgebrook, Jentel, The Studios of Key West, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Ragdale, and others. She is working on a second book, an enhanced memoir called The Other One: The Book of Choices and Choice-making.
