Time to grab a disc, saddle up, throw on those cleats or catch some wind.
Club sports are a great way to still compete and meet new friends without joining a Varsity team.
What are Club Sports?
Club sports are clubs chartered by the Student Government Association that are organized and coached by students and/or volunteer coaches. They compete with area leagues and other universities or colleges, but are not regulated by the NCAA and do not have varsity status. These clubs are open to all students, no prior experience necessary! Club sports are competitive, instructional, and recreational. They provide leadership opportunities and skill-building experiences for students. A club sport is usually less formal and tends to require less time than varsity sports, yet offers students a team experience that is more involved and competitive than intramurals. Don't see a sport you're interested in? It's easy to start your own!
