Written via Zoom over the course of Fall 2020 by students in a Community Based Theater course, this script is built from interviews with members of the SMCM community on the subjects of race, gender, healing and joy. It is scheduled to be performed as part of the TFMS season (virtually or in person depending upon safety) in April 2021.
This public reading is intended to solicit feedback on the first draft of the script. Taking community comments into account, the play will be further shaped and developed during the rehearsal process next semester.
