Package Center reminders

A few reminders about student packages at the Package Center, of recurring problems we have been experiencing this fall. 

• We have been receiving several packages lately with either no name, or only a first name. These packages are returned to the sender, as we do not know who they are for. Packages that arrive must have the first and last name of the student, as well as their mailbox number. The first and last name must match what we have on our mailbox list, or it will be returned to the sender. If you have a preferred name, please email the Package Center to let them know so we can reflect that on our mailbox list. 
• Please use the 16800 Point Lookout Road address. If you use either the College Drive or Fisher Road address, it goes to the college's main mail room, and takes much longer to get to us. 
• We DO NOT accept packages containing alcohol or live animals. No exceptions. 
• The Package Center receives packages. We do not stuff the mailboxes- that is done by the college's main mail room at the Physical Plant. If you have questions about mail that would go in your mailbox, please contact them at 240-895-4287.
