The Michael P. O’Brien ARC will be hosting the Maryland Swim Championships - Thursday 3/5 - Sunday 3/8. We are expecting nearly 500-800 swimmers and parents to be on campus on Thursday from 4pm-8pm and 8 am-9 pm on Friday-Sunday. Please welcome our visitors to the campus as we show off our facilities and I apologize in advance for any inconveniences.
The following parking lots will be designated for those attending the MD Swim Championship meet; Lot Z, Guam and Temporary Lot. There will be signage on campus directing them to park in the appropriate lots.
The Glendening Lot will be reserved for SMCM staff and will be coned off on Friday 3/6. A Public Safety Officer will be stationed at the Glendening Lot from 6 am-9 am to monitor the traffic flow.
In addition, the Aquatic Center will be closed for Open swim after the 12 - 2 pm session on Thursday 3/5 and remained closed through Sunday 3/8. Open swim will resume on Monday 3/9 at 12 pm
