Hey SMCM folks,
The SMCM Veggie Co-op is now accepting membership applications for the Spring of 2020
Just a little bit about us...we are a student-led community that runs an alternative vegetarian meal plan out of the basement of the QA Dorm. We focus on sustainable eating and purchasing practices by doing our best to buy produce that is fresh, local and affordable from farmers markets and businesses in the area! Our goal is to create a space based on respect, community engagement, family and meatless cooking.
If you're interested, all you have to do is send an email to amsawyer@smcm.edu AND cmmiller1@smcm.edu, and more information/the application will come right your way! (P.S. It's only $600 a semester to be a member).
This past summer, we renovated the space by doing a full deep-clean, re-paint and refurnishing, so come on down and check us out regardless! We're all looking forward to a new and improved semester of veggies and friends!
